Or at least that's how you could describe the Balls & Dolls' effort in their match-up against the New Kicks on the Block.
Before Wednesday night, the Bs&Ds were able to knock off most of the real competition in their division. They easily took down team I'd Hit It, who was supposed to be the other powerhouse team in Group C, but they have been struggling all season long. The Balls & Dolls were also able to take down The Runs, who are extremely dangerous on the offensive side of the ball. In the last two weeks, The Runs have been able to score a total of 25 runs. When the Bs & Ds meet The Runs during Week 3, they not only won the game, but they were able to shut out this offensive powerhouse with a score of 5-0. Which makes their loss to the New Kicks on the Block that more bizarre. Not that the Kicks aren't a good team, but the Balls & Dolls are the better team, more experienced team.
Maybe we can attribute the Balls & Dolls loss to rustiness from their bye-week? I'm not sure, but I personally saw their game and they had some opportunities to score, they just couldn't capitalize off them. During the early innings of the game, they also suffered from some horrible defensive miscues. Which is quite uncharacteristic of their usually stout and very aware defense. Whatever the reason maybe, you have to give all the credit to The New Kicks on the Block. They may not have an awesome defense or a noticeably strong defense, but they are winning. And at the end of the day, that's all the matters!
The New Kicks on the Block are looking great and getting the job done. And if it's any consolation, there is no need for the Balls & Dolls to hit the panic button just yet. There is still some time for a redeeming win. However there isn't much time...

End of an era, Balls n Dolls and I'd hit it didn't even make it past the quarterfinals, and the only reason shockers got there is because them and balls n dolls had to play each other. Also I saw on the championship video that there wasn't one big thing, THE INFAMOUS SLIDE! hmmm...... Not taking anything away from drunken monkeyz way to play, but everyone quit making it seem like they did it with 8, is it me or did I see 9 people in their pic? One person helps IMO. Enough said there. Now, who the fuck is this kickball fan #1, you're a punk letting Rich talk to you like that, what a fag. Don't let Rich come at you like that! Moving on. I really can't believe how much shit James talks, he talks the most shit on his team, maybe besides freddy but at least freddy is decent at this "GAME" like Rich calls it, but damn James you blow the most on your team, quit talking shit, you suck bar none! Now I think its hilarious how Rich points out how some teams don't practice and thats the way it should be, however how long have you practiced Rich, because I know damn well that pitch you do didn't come naturally, quit hating on the people that do practice, not everyone has been playing for a decade like you, and well Reed and Dave are the reason you all won it all, I would like to see what you would do without them, because Lucas doesn't have that talent at catcher and third, but holds his own, props to him. Moving on. How about kndb sucking one now that they lost their two all stars, enough said there. Now who in the hell is this new confused kixx team? What's all the hype about them, nothing but a bunch of young hot heads that crack under pressure, and really I've seen a couple of their games and they have this geeky ass pitcher with glasses an braces, and yet he strikes people out! Really? Someone just kick his ball he sucks! I don't know how they are undefeated. Moving on. Now you know this league's comp isn't good when lta is undefeated, and what's funny is they actually think they're good, fat pitcher, guys that play in khakis and well we won't go any further than that, Lta nation go suck one, come playoffs one and done, unless you all get a forfeit win like last season. =O Although the shocker era is done, you would never beat them. And I believe the guy, we need to put all this Epk v.s SCK stuff behind us. That includes me, because it's not the players at Epk that should be blamed for anything. Now I have heard about a team that entered into Thursday Night and I want to say for the record that I HAD ABSOLUTELY nothing to do with it. It seems like a convenient answer, but its the truth. If you see me on Thursday nights it will be to support all players who play in SCK regardless of which team they are on. You can even ask Vince. I went to watch Kixxx during their semi-final game to support them.
