This is it! The moment we have all been waiting for. It is time to find out who will be crowned the King of Kickball for Spring 2011. The Spring Season featured 28 teams vying for the title to be the best kickball team in the Southwest. This was SCK's biggest season yet and the biggest field of teams El Paso has ever seen. The season featured the best kickball talent around. Whoever comes out will also have exclusive bragging rights for clawing their way through a record amount of teams. Very exciting stuff kickballers!!!
Now let's look at the brackets!
Match-up #1 between the #2 Drunken Monkeyz and #15 2 Legit 2 Kick is an easy pick. You can basically chalk this game up as a tune up game for the Monkeyz. Although 2 Legit 2 Kick deserves a ton of credit for being the only true rookie team to make it into the King of Kickball tourney. Unfortunately they haven't acquired the skill set or experience yet to take down the veteran Drunken Monkeyz.
Match-up #2 between the #7 Balls & Dolls and #10 Brown Chicken Brown Cow should easily go to the Balls & Dolls. Brown Chicken Brown Cow was consistently in the IJK Top Ten; however they faltered near the end of the season and inched into the tourney with an At-Large bid. Don't plan on them taking down the ambitious Bs&Ds. Instead plan on seeing a Round 2 re-match between the Drunken Monkeyz and the Balls & Dolls.
For Match-up #3 you have to tip the scales in #6 I'd Hit It's favor. #11 Vicious and Delicious had an excellent come-back season, finishing with a 5-3 record. The only thing that plagues this team is their suspect team roster and kicking order. After being DQ'd from the Spring '10 King of Kickball for trying to play un-registered players, my advice to any team is to keep an eye out. It's unfortunate to even have to say that but...it is what it is.
Match-up #4 is the most interesting by far, the #3 Shockers used to be the villains of the league, but that title has quickly changed hands and is now owned by the Drunken Monkeyz. Once the league grew past 12 teams the Shocker's supposed impending dynasty quickly fell apart. Despite finishing the season 8-0, they have become more a mid-range team than a juggernaut. They failed beat to beat any marque teams this season, but that had more to do with the fact that they drew one of the easiest divisions, at least for their skill set. Now they are slated to play the #14 Billy Bad Asses. Coincidently the Bad Asses are best known for one of the biggest upsets in SCK history and it was against the back then unbeatable Shockers. They were the first team to show that Shockers do bleed. Will they be able to upset the Shockers again? The answer?? We are about to find out.

I heard 2 legit was missing a handful of players when they played the monkeyz, I wouldn't count them out yet.

I agree the first comment is bogus! If 2 Legit really thinks they can win this game they are crazy. That the dumbest thing I ever heard. also if they are claiming they have been missing players and all of sudden have the players to compete with the monkeys. Somebody should check into that. I smell ringers.

I don’t know about that. 2 Legit has already played the Drunken Monkeys once and so the element of surprise is gone. They know what to expect don’t count anyone out just yet. That being said though the Monkeys should still win this game, I am just thinking it won't be a cake walk this time.
People who did not make playoffs can't predict anything especially if you had a 2 seed and did nothing with it

I had to ask who u were cuz nobody knows u and u criticize the field judges talking about how they helped 2 legit tie that game cuz they were buddies, blame urself for tying against a team with 9 girls and 4 guys not one call. No disrespect towards 2 legit they do great with so many girls.. Jesse I play fo balls to.the wall go check it out I'm the pitcher. I'm the field judge that did ur game too..
Soooo I'm very proud of my team for making it so far.. honestly I didn't think we were gonna win the play in tourney... We're gonna play our best on Wednesday but it would be foolish of me to think we are gonna dominate and win this game..
The first time we played the monkeys we were missing 3 ppl (2 guys an 1 girl)... Having them back for this game wed will definitely help us reduce the amount of points scored against us but we dont have enough collective kickball knowledge to pull out a victory.. Our team never practices and most are here for fun...
So as I said before I'm extremely proud of how well my team has done for how inexperienced we are... We love playing the game and although we will be fighting a losing battle on wed we aren't going to forefit ( cop out) like some other teams did in the play in tournament.

Why dont you mention how we had no problem with them earlier this season and how your Monkeyz almost tied them if it weren't for their 1 run scored in the 5th inning. Tsk tsk bad monkeyz...But we'll see..Its Playoff time Baby!! Time to weed out the bottom feeders....
You know as much as I do tha there is bad calls by certain field judges, and if you wee the one calling that game then it was you Rich. We have played some good games and bad games but some we feel were done in by calls, 2 Legit being one in that game twre were bad calls and they can say it also bit hey they are in the play offs and we aren't. They are a good team, no doubt about it and going in we knew we had a game to play. If you are telling me to learn the rules then that statement comes back around on you as well, you may be a field judge but I am pretty sure I am not the only here who has noticed bad calls, they may not all be on you and some calls are missed cause it happens. My team plays to play but when something bad happens we get mad. If so I think that has been one of the times I was really mad about some bad calls.
On another note if you want we can play a game, settle this little dispute, I don't know if we will do good but hey it van also get you some extra practice before the playoffs if you are up for it. I am not trying to make enemies here, I like putting in my two cents as well.

Bad calls make u play bad games? Sad to hear.. believe me when I say I know the rules better than u Jesse ask any field judge or head ump I know what I'm doing. If u knew the rules so well and there was a close call that game u should've challenged it, obviously u don't know the rules. Anyhow I'm not gonna sit here and argue when I've seen, played, and umped way more kickball than u.
And about playing you all, I was hoping you'd make the 16 seed so we could play u but I guess not..

Not whining or anything like a biotch either 187, I syltop talking about the imps a while the Ri guy brought it back up...which was weeks ago when we played and tied 2 Legit. I had nothing against them, then this douche came in and started talking shit so I talk back. I have nothing agianst you 187 really have nothing agianst anyone just the added who are just talking. To back up my boy Jesse, I am also on suisliders, I sacrificed a kitten so it would be windy today and all you winning teams have to play against the elements while us losers have to watch some other loser playoffs (NBA) while drinking a beer in our comfortable houses. Have fun! Bwa ha ha ha (I know it's just kickball but losing 8-0 in anything sucks)
