We have new teams, old teams, returning teams... And it's become harder and harder to keep track of who is who, with all the team name changing going on. In my opinion, it's actually quite sad that team coaches feel they need to constantly one up each other to find the "funniest" new name out there. Frankly the trendiness brings tears to my eyes. Where are the traditionalists? The purists? Big props to all the teams who refuse to give in to the trendiness and pride themselves on the franchise names that they worked so hard to establish. That being said; here is the list of the teams with some unmasking of teams who have changed their name.

The Original Six
The Original Six are back! The league was founded on the backs of these very special teams. Undoubtedly they are kickball royalty, however some have opted to change their team names.
1. Shockers ( Two-Time Champs and multiple semi-final appearances)
2. Drunken Monkeyz ( One-Time Champs and multiple championship game appearances)
3. Los Mataconchas (Originally the Family Jewelz)
4. Balls and Dolls (Consistent Top-Ten Team)
5. Brown Chicken Brown Cow (Originally the Multiple Scoregasms)
6. Los Totally Awesomes - maybe will become Los Fah Qs (These indecisive kiddos have yet to decide)

These next teams joined the SCK family during Season #2. You can compare this group to the Care Bear Cousins, they may not be the original Care Bears, but they are Care Bears nonetheless.

The league blew up after Season #2 and the following are all the teams, rookie and returning, who are now with the league at Modesto 1 & 2, Jimmy 0, and surrounding fields.

Whats up with all these super teams?? They cant hack it with their own teams so they pretty much buy a CHAMPIONSHIP ala last years champs. Its along season and you never know who might get upset. If it wasnt for the the lights the New Kids on the Block had all the momentum and would have taken Confused Kixx out!! GOOD LUCK TO YOU!

Damn James already starting? I knew you couldn't stay quiet so now here come my 2 pennies ha if they left the field with momentum then they had momentum that following week, if they couldn't win under pressure with a whole week to think about just 3 outs and two girls kicking at the beginning then they wouldn't be able to handle the monkeyz, you can say they would've won and I can say my team was gonna win that day no matter what, stop hating on us. Woulda coulda shoulda but DIDN'T. Like It's been said before if you can't handle these "super teams" then go combine with the monkeyz or I'd hit or balls n dolls and stop crying we are the champs and that's all that matters buddy.
Negative Rick! Why do you deserve credit??? For assembling an allstar team?? If thats the case, then great freakin job. Other than that you dont deserve any thing else. Dont get me wrong, I like most the peeps on your team, but when you have the best players its a foregone conclusion that youll win it all...look at the Party Crashers!

You need to be a little bit more humble Ricky Boy. As crazy as James is, he is right, you were given a gift. Per the rules, the game should have been called, but it wasn't. It would have been a crappy way for a semi-final game to end, so it was finished the following week and rightly so.
And technically, Chupacabrones are deemed the defending champs. You can't cut a championship in half.

Sad day for the bloggers, James and rich make me chuckle at times, taking credit away where it don't need to be taken from. Rich I read the rules and it says the ump MAY call the game due to time constraints. Second I remember reading that semi finals and championship will be 7 innings long not 6 1/2 and it doesn't say or ddnsay "unless lights go out before 7 innings anywhere, and you can deem whoever and whatever team u want as defending champs whatever makes u sleep better at night, I know my 7 teammates are champs just as much as vince's 7 are. Now James an all star team? Last time I checked an all star team contains stars from a variety of teams, not just two, if you're saying all the superstars were on two teams in the whole league that's just sad, two teams. Look at the warriors they had all stars from 4 different teams and so did the party crashers. And I'm not taking anything away from the party crashers congrats to them for taking it I'm not gonna sit here and dawg on them like u do to us James, plenty to say about the championships you've won but I won't. I'd say let's leave it at that. We beat the defending champs in the biggest kickball season until this one and we shut them out and went undefeated that's the bottom line. Nuff said
All Im saying is win it with your own teams. Dont combine teams, and if last seasons CHAMPS were such a team then whyd you all split into 2 teams again?? As far as for my Shockers, we won 2 titles with not much comp in SCK, but we still won them with our own players. Youll always be champs but its kinda cheap if you ask ME. And you know what they say about opinions...
That's the thing I've Won a championship with my team already and so have they, understand James we didn't have enough players registered at the time so we combined now we have enough again so we split. Can we plz understand that??

I can't see Shockers, Balls & Dolls, Monkeys, or even I'd Hit It combining forces with other teams in order to "buy a championship". Those teams exemplify what kickball is all about, fun and competitive.

That's the point Ricky Boy. Thursday night means nothing. SCK is where the real kickballers live.
The Party Crashers combined for Thursday nights but not here at SCK. That should tell you something brotha. They could easily do that here, but they dont. They play with their team. People they know, friends, family. Yea they pick up players from time to time, but never a ridiculous super team.
All this talk back n forth is retarded u all just don't seem to listen u or James.. They don't put a team in on Thursdays cuz THEY CAN'T GET THEIR WHOLE TEAM out there and a couple have too me so, just like what happened to confused kixxx last season, quit putting words or points to where it fits u best thats annoying in itself. If the Thursday league was so weak in comp they shouldn't need a super team so your point makes no sense, it's like if they're saying let's make a super team to go dominate the field, where's the fun in that? And for your info they ddn dominate that league they lost 2 games last season and yeah the first one they lost was cuz they only had 8 against kixxx but the second one was to a team that had 8. The Thursday league from here on out will be irrelevant now that they're losing the better teams due to age but before it wasn't a cake walk. It's ok to be wrong
